Basswala is a third‑party platform that connects Clients (those seeking DJs) with DJ Operators (service providers). Basswala facilitates search, bookings, payment processing, and dispute assistance. Basswala does not directly provide DJ services — DJ Operators deliver services to Clients under their own terms.
Basswala charges commissions on bookings as follows:
Payments are processed through third‑party gateways (e.g., Razorpay). By making payments you agree to the terms and policies of these payment providers. Basswala may hold or deduct fees as necessary to process refunds, chargebacks, taxes, or penalties.
DJ Operators must:
Clients must provide accurate event details, make timely payments, and treat Operators professionally. Cancellation and refund rules apply per Basswala’s policies which may change from time to time.
All Basswala content (designs, logos, documentation) is owned by Basswala or its licensors. Users grant Basswala a license to use content uploaded to the platform for service provision and promotion (e.g., operator portfolios, reviews).
Users shall not:
Basswala acts only as a marketplace facilitator. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Basswala disclaims warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of the Service or interactions between users. Liability caps may apply as permitted by law.
Basswala may suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations, fraudulent activity, or legal reasons. Users may also close accounts by following in‑app procedures; certain records may be retained for legal or business reasons.
Users should first contact Basswala support for dispute resolution. These Terms are governed by the laws of India and disputes will be subject to competent courts of India unless otherwise agreed.
Use of the Service is governed by Basswala's Privacy Policy, which explains how personal data is collected and processed.
